Boscosauro is located within Tenuta Sabini, a property immersed in the natural beauty of Altamura, in the heart of the Alta Murgia. Here, a project was born, designed to welcome families and children in an authentic setting, where time slows down and nature takes center stage.
Boscosauro is Tenuta Sabini’s nature trail dedicated to the discovery of prehistory: an open-air experience that combines dinosaurs, forests, and environmental education, without artifice, respecting the environment that hosts it.
An experience born from the territory
Tenuta Sabini has always had ties to the territory and its rural history.
Boscosauro was born from this very vision: to enhance the natural environment and transform it into a space for discovery, learning, and sharing.
The trail winds through the woods, through paths, open spaces, and settings dedicated to prehistory, allowing both adults and children to enjoy an immersive experience, balancing nature, knowledge, and play.
The choice of Altamura is no coincidence: the Murgia region is deeply connected to the history of man and nature, and is the ideal context for recounting the past through direct experience.

Boscosauro is designed for families who want to spend quality time outdoors, offering children an educational and engaging experience, and parents a well-maintained, safe, and reassuring environment.
The nature trail, guided tours, animal farm, and workshops offer a simple and accessible approach to prehistory and the environment, stimulating curiosity and awareness without forcing it.
Here learning happens naturally, by walking, observing and experiencing the forest.

Tenuta Sabini is a family-run business in the Altamura area, immersed in the natural beauty of the Alta Murgia. For many years, the Ninivaggi family has cared for the woods and the estate, enhancing its spaces and its connection to the environment.
Today Tenuta Sabini is also a farmhouse, with a restaurant, bed & breakfast, and spaces dedicated to receptions and events. It’s a place designed for hospitality and sharing, in harmony with the surrounding natural landscape.
